You may use the directory for lawful personal, educational, and professional purposes. Check the terms and warnings of any app you open, and independently verify results before relying on them.
1. Scope and acceptance
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Toollinks directory at toollinks.net and its Cloudflare Pages address, toollinks-hub.pages.dev, operated as Toollinks (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the directory, you agree to these Terms to the extent an agreement may validly be formed under applicable law. If you do not agree, stop using the directory.
These Terms govern the directory itself. Separate apps, including apps on toollinks.net subdomains, may have their own terms and additional notices. Opening an app does not replace its terms with these Terms. Our Disclaimer forms part of these Terms. Our Privacy Policy explains information processing and your choices; agreement to these Terms is not a substitute for any privacy consent required by law.
2. Eligibility and the service
You must have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms, or use the directory with the involvement of a parent or guardian where required. The directory is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. Linked services may have different age or eligibility rules.
The directory provides links, descriptions, search, sorting, and browser-saved favorites. It currently requires no account or payment. We may improve, correct, add, or remove listings and features. Favorites are stored in your browser and may be lost if site data is cleared, the browser removes it, or the site address changes. We do not provide an account-based backup or guarantee continued availability.
3. Permitted and prohibited use
You may access and use the directory for lawful personal, educational, and professional purposes, and share links to its public pages. You agree to comply with applicable law and to respect the rights of other people and service operators.
You must not use the directory to distribute malware, conduct fraud, impersonate others, infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, access systems or information without authorization, bypass access restrictions, or disrupt the directory or a linked service. Automated activity must not impose an unreasonable load or circumvent technical restrictions. Report suspected vulnerabilities responsibly without accessing other people’s data or causing damage.
4. Linked apps and other services
Apps linked from the directory are separate services with their own content, limitations, terms, privacy practices, and providers. Some may be operated by Toollinks, while others may involve different operators or third-party services. You are responsible for reviewing the notices that apply to the app you use.
We do not promise that a linked app is accurate, secure, continuously available, or appropriate for your situation. We are not a party to transactions you enter into with another service unless a separate agreement expressly says otherwise. A listing does not imply official affiliation or endorsement by an institution, professional body, product provider, or examination board.
5. Intellectual property
The directory’s original design, text, and branding are protected by applicable intellectual property law. You receive permission to use the directory as described in these Terms, not ownership of its content or branding. Do not reproduce, sell, or present the directory’s original content as your own without permission, except where a license or applicable law permits it.
App names, trademarks, source code, third-party materials, and open-source components remain subject to their owners’ rights and applicable licenses. These Terms do not restrict rights granted to you under a separate open-source license or rights such as fair use that cannot be removed by these Terms.
6. Correspondence and feedback
You can contact editors@toollinks.net with questions, corrections, or feedback. Send only information you are entitled to share, and avoid unnecessary sensitive or confidential material. We may use non-confidential suggestions to improve the directory, without taking ownership of personal information or unrelated intellectual property in your message. Our handling of correspondence is described in the Privacy Policy.
7. No professional advice or guaranteed results
The directory and its descriptions are for general information and education. They do not provide individualized professional advice or create a professional-client relationship. Calculations, estimates, and simulations found through the directory may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong.
Read our Disclaimer and each app’s instructions, assumptions, and warnings. Obtain qualified advice and independently verify outputs when a decision involves health, safety, finances, legal obligations, or other significant consequences.
8. Availability and warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the directory is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim warranties of accuracy, completeness, uninterrupted availability, security, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement to the extent those warranties may lawfully be excluded.
We do not guarantee that the directory or linked services will be error-free, meet a particular requirement, or remain available. Nothing in these Terms excludes a statutory guarantee or other right that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
9. Liability and your legal rights
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Toollinks is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or loss of profits, opportunities, or data, arising from use of or inability to use the directory or reliance on its listings. Your use of linked services is also subject to their applicable terms.
These exclusions apply only where lawful. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, willful misconduct, death or personal injury where exclusion is unlawful, or any other liability or mandatory consumer right that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. Mandatory protections that apply in your place of residence remain available to you.
10. Service changes and access restrictions
We may change, suspend, or discontinue the directory or individual features, and may restrict access reasonably necessary to address abuse, security threats, legal requirements, or violations of these Terms. Any action remains subject to applicable law. You can stop using the directory at any time and remove locally saved information through your browser.
We may revise these Terms by publishing an updated version with a new date. Changes apply prospectively. We will identify material changes on the site and provide additional notice or seek agreement when required by law. Continued use after a revision takes effect is subject to the revised Terms only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
11. Questions, disputes, and general provisions
If you have a concern, contact editors@toollinks.net so we can try to resolve it. Contacting us does not limit your right to pursue a legal remedy or extend any legal deadline. Applicable law and the courts with lawful jurisdiction govern any dispute, subject to mandatory consumer protections.
If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent legally permitted. A failure to enforce a provision immediately does not by itself waive it.
